Should be self explanatory. I usually do a complete circuit of the loch (including the city of Inverness), with a boat trip, monster exhibition and Urquhart Castle and Culloden battlefield all being optional. The outward leg follows the route of the Caledonian Canal, i.e. Loch Linnhe, Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness. Leaving fort William, we travel N.W. to Lochailort before turning W. down the spectacular shores of Loch Ailort and Loch Shiel, stopping at the beautiful ruins of Castle Tioram on Loch Moidart. Then following Loch Sunart, down Glen Borrodale and on to Kilchoan and Ardnamurchan Point (most westerly point on British mainland). On the return leg, we usually see seals before crossing Corran ferry and returning to Fort William from the south.
